Funding in 2025

Tax check-off awards

Faith Fancher Award
Faith Fancher was a long-time television news anchor with KTVU (Oakland) who publicly battled breast cancer while raising visibility and support for CBCRP. Each year, select grants receive the Faith Fancher Award, honoring projects that reflect the values Faith championed and extend her work for all women facing breast cancer. The award recipient in 2025 is:
Lisa Goldman Rosas at Stanford University and Starla Gay at Roots Community Health Center for the community research collaboration project: Culturally Tailored Food is Medicine for Black/African American Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors.
